Known as the colorful island of lace, this authentic Italian gem lays in the Venice laguna and offers stunning landscapes and traditional memories of a past actually out of time. Be impressed by the tranquility and calmness of the elderly ladies embroidering original Burano lace on their tombolo (or lace pillow). Literally a slice of Heaven.

Excellent presentation of authentic glass making in Murano by a professional glass blower. Beautiful town and history as well as lace making in Burano. A favorite with my teenage children!
