- Children less than 3 years old are free of charge unless they would like to have food on the tour as well. Infants must sit on lap for this free option (no stroller could be bought on the tour for the free option else a regular rate applies).

- In case the day of your tour falls on a holiday or a day where lots of some restaurants are closed, we will still make sure that you will have the same amount of food if not more food than usual,with wine and always with the minimum of 6 stops

What To Expect

There are 8 stops on this tour with plenty of food to make sure you do not need breakfast nor dinner. You will start your day with some coffee, like the Italians do. Venice has a tradition that goes a long way back in time in making tasty pastries, and you will get to try some of the heavenly delicious pastries that the Venetian has to offer. After your sweet tooth has been satisfied, stroll through some wine bars and savor typical Venetian drinks accompanied by the famous cicchetti. Try 5-6 different types of fish and learn how each dish is created. Even Venice is known for seafood dishes, there are some delicious local cured meat that you have to try too! Then go to the backstreet, visit the oldest bar, find out where the famous lover in history used to frequent and of course try their signature dish. After that, crawl your way to get some traditional Venetian cookies and learn why they are so good, and the tour will end with some authentic gelato! During this gelato stop, the guide will explain how to identify good quality gelato shops even in a middle of a touristy place. The wonderful food provided on the the tour are all in season to make sure all of our clients try the freshest recipes.

Had an amazing time!
Great people, great food. Our guide, Giorgio, was knowledgeable, personable and funny. You could experience how the community interacts with one another which is beauty I treasure regarding traveling to new places.
Would recommend to everyone. Get to learn some history, could meet new people, drink wine and taste delicious most memorable food!
Favorite foods were the restaurant pasta’s, balsamic, wine pairings and of course the desserts!

Anna our guide was wonderful. She’s knowledgeable and passionate about food as well as wine. She also knows Venice very well. Those things combined with her bubbly personality make this tour a must do for Venice. I’m going back to some of the places we visited for dinner. Absolutely worth it.

We loved our small group tasting tour with Giorgio! He was super knowledgeable of the area, the food, the family businesses, Venician restaurants and markets, and more. He chose a great variety of food places -- each one locally owned and non-touristy -- which we loved. So we got a full array of various kinds of food -- street and restaurant foods. Also toured the market where locals buy. We loved wandering the streets and finding the tiny and fabulous eating establishments. Giorgio was a great guide and host.

We now try and do a food tour on all family vacations. This tour was a total blast. The guide took us from one small place to another and you really felt like you were at places frequented by locals. We would definitely book this tour again.

Fun with food and drink

A fun, filling and inviting way to get acquainted with Venice. Our group had plenty to eat and drink and enjoyed each others company. Our guide Tiziani (sorry, not sure of the spelling) got everyone talking, eating and trying new foods. We went the first night of our time in Venice, and were able to pick up some great ideas for our time there. Highly recommend.
Great experience with too many people

Overall it was a great experience. The guide was amazing and the food was incredible. However, 12 was too many people to have on the tour. Sitting in busy alleys and on busy streets with that many people made it challenging to keep everyone involved.
