Overview

The Doge's Palace was the political centre of Venice, it hosted the government and the city court. We'll discover the beautiful rooms of the Palace and admire some of the masterpieces by Venetian painters such as Tintoretto and Paolo Veronese.

The tour continues with the Basilica dedicated to S. Mark, a typical example of Byzantine art decorated with breathtaking golden mosaics.
