Overview

Learn how to decorate your mask. You will have a mask, the color sand and everything else that you may need to make a good job. You will enjoy the experience in a real Venetian Atelier where typical masks are created and at the end you'll bring your creation at home.

Really a must do for families first time Venice

I would go back. Host and hostess friendly especially with mixed crowd of adults and young children. Plenty of supplies, helpful to explain how to and keep on timing to finish. Many choices of different masks and I would go back again with family.

Booked this experience after reading a great review by another mom. I booked the 2 hour which was a little more than we needed, but an hour would not have been enough. My kids (ages 9-16) enjoyed choosing and decorating their own mask. My oldest even said "This way more fun than I thought it would be!" which is a high compliment from a teenager. My husband and I had fun too. Jacob was a fun guide who told us about the history of the different masks. He was funny and personable and a great host! Highly recommend this for families who want to do something fun together.

Magical mask-making experience

This was a fanastic family experience.

After reading previous reviews, I booked a two-hour session for our family of five (children aged 5, 7 and 9), to make sure we had plenty of time. I was a bit hesitant about the price, but realised that we could easily spend the same on expensive meals out in restaurants which can be challenging with three active children, and decided I would prefer this as a fun family activity. I hoped it would go well, as I never know when my children might announce that they are bored or that everything is boring

Mask making & decorating Venice

Absolutely fantastic experience! We took our girls to make and decorate masks and they loved every minute of it . Owners were so friendly and welcoming so girls wanted to go back for another session in the same day :) we will definitely visit again next time we are in Venice and maybe try out beautiful costumes !

If you are looking for an experience with your children or grandchildren then this is the one.!We were able to learn some history of mask making in Venice while designing our very own masks.The staff were extremely kind and patient in helping my granddaughters (and me) create the perfect keepsake from Venice and allowed me to create an unforgettable memory with them!
