Elisabetta indeed showed us quiet and beautiful spots off the beaten track in Venice. Avoided the Rialto and St Mark crowds and visited charming plazas via interesting streets. Elisabetta is charming and knowledgeable about Venice and Venetian history, and was always pulling out books and maps from her purse to illustrate a point. Highly recommend.

Elisabetta gave my family and me an absolutely personalised, hilarious and incredibly knowledgeable few hours of her time sharing the Venice that's a little off-the-beaten track. After 3 hours and a quick reboot in a great little coffee bar, Elisabetta felt like a friend and it was lovely to be here with someone who cares about her city and knows what happens behind the scenes for true Venetians. But she let us know lots of tips and practical info too: great restaurants, how the vaporetti (water buses worked), what her family had done here over the last few hundred years, where the best gelato was, and what an amazing if difficult city this is to live in. We laughed a lot and learned a lot too - a great afternoon I'd recommend at the drop of a hat.

This was an awesome experience. It's not a prepackaged tour, it's a personal tour with Elisabetta who is from Venice. You get this lovely tour and great advice of where to eat and how to navigate the city. Venice is quite the experience that can be taken to another level with a great tour.
